Heather grew up in Havre, Montana. She holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Carroll College and a Doctorate degree in physical therapy from University of Montana in Missoula.
Heather furthered her skills in orthopedics by earning an Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Using evidence-based research in her field of Orthopedics she assists patients in proper biomechanics, manual therapy techniques and exercise. She has continued her training in Manual Therapy through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy. She has additional training in Pelvic Floor physical therapy through the Herman and Wallace continuing education series. Her desire to assist patients with pelvic floor issues motivates her to continue her education in the field of pelvic wellness.
Heather’s vision as a Pelvic Wellness PT is to develop a program to support pregnant and post-partum patients. She would love to see pelvic wellness physical therapy become a standard of post-partum care.
Heather is a mother of two young boys and she enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her family.
